Biography

"You gentlemen and yeomen good, come in and drink with Robin Hood." - Old Rhyme

Lance was born in Nottingham, one of the two historic sites of the epicenter that bore witness to the legendary deeds of Robert Fitzooth, Earl of Huntingdon and Lord of Locksley, whom was Lance's ancestor and the true name of the legendary woodsman and outlaw known as Robin Hood. Those days were long gone, but the legacy lived on in Lance and his father. However, Lance's father was sent into battle one day and he never returned. His superiors informed young Lance on his untimely death. Horrified, Lance ran away from home, away from town, and into the nearby Sherwood Forest, just as his ancestor did when he became an outlaw. Instead of Merry Men, Lance met a noble man, Mathias, Lord Marshal of the Order of Arcturus. Mathias saw potential in the boy, after learning of his heritage. So Lance began rigorous training.

As his life progressed, he became more skilled in the trades of treasure-hunting and gathering information. His skill in archery was astounding, and his ability to use other weapons was just as surpising. During his life, he also met Isaac, Gail, and Vakama. He and Gail were once very close, but alas, this romance was fated to be unrequited. They used to play games in Sherwood Forest, reenacting famous events concerning Robin Hood and key figures in the legends surrounding him. As the years progressed, Lance became the chief spy and treasure-hunter for the Order. He gathered information and relics for the Order, and though he has never done this, his job also entails assassinations only if absolutely necessary. He remains close friends with Isaac, and hardly is seen without him.

Then came that fateful journey. Isaac lost his master, and Lance learned of the death of the greatest of the Order, and of his own best friend Vakama. The pain of his loss was also shared with Lance's other friends Isaac and Gail, he knew that in his heart, he was fated to remain at their sides, to ensure that Isaac's mission was complete, and that Gail remained safe at the Lord Marshal and the High Priestess's behest. The three years passed by, and Isaac had run out in pursuit of the cursed sword, and Gail was determined to follow him. With the path of adventure laid before him and his friends, Lance will not pass this opportunity up, and sets out with Isaac, hoping to once again relive the glory days of his ancestor.
