Author Notes
The very first character I ever made dating back to April 13, 2002 when I first played Dynasty Warriors 3. Different from the Xiao-Lin most are likely familiar with since she doesn't get drawn as often. Her skin is tan with her hair being Brown with light Blue eyes, she is also taller than the usual Xiao-Lin's who tend to be quite short. Her personality has changed from when I first created her until now.
Soulcalibur IV
- Costume 1 ~ Strikeforce Fury Form
- Xiao-Lin's Fury Form appearance for the DW:Strikeforce games.
- Costume 2 ~ Dynasty Warriors 7
- Recreation of Xiao-Lin's main outfit for DW7. Since Warthog Gauntlets were male only at this point I had to use a different glove piece for this outfit.
- Costume 3 ~ Dynasty Warriors 7 School of Tiger
- Recreation of Xiao-Lin's School outfit DLC for DW7.
Soulcalibur BD
- Costume 1 ~ Dynasty Warriors 7
- Recreation of Xiao-Lin's main outfit for DW7. A little more accurate since Warthog Gauntlets were made usable by both genders now instead of just males.
- Costume 2 ~ Dynasty Warriors 7 School of Tiger
- Attempted creation of Xiao-Lin's School outfit DLC for DW7. Sadly this is the least accurate version due to the shirt not changing colors.
Soulcalibur V
- Costume 1 ~ Strikeforce Fury Form
- Xiao-Lin's Fury Form appearance for the Strikeforce games. Oddly enough this outfit is more accurate in 4 mainly due to the correct skirt type (minus the ribbon) and proper arm armor.
- Costume 2 ~ Dynasty Warriors 7
- Recreation of Xiao-Lin's main outfit for DW7. One thing her previous versions were unable to do was add the golden marks near the pointy edges of her back flaps.
- Costume 3 ~ Dynasty Warriors 7 School of Tiger
- The most accurate representation of her Schoolgirl DLC outfit for DW7. While all 6 small stickers slots were used there still needs to be more done to be fully accurate.
- Costume 4 ~ Dynasty Warriors 8
- SC5 exclusive creation and the one used to design her DW8 look.
Warriors Series
- Dynasty Warriors 7 Costume 1 ~ Young Fang
- Xiao-Lin in her Dynasty Warriors 5 outfit. Thanks to the 13th Costume DLC set I can finally make Xiao as close as possible to her actual design. Her weapon back then was a Forked Spear similar to the spear Xingcai had before she was changed to Sword & Shield.
- Dynasty Warriors 7 Costume 2 ~ Iron Tigress
- Xiao-Lin in her Dynasty Warriors 6 outfit. Recreation of her Dynasty Warriors 6: Empires look with additional tweaks provided in DW7:E. Since there's nothing like Lotus Flower from DWO in DW7:E I went with the next best thing which was Battle Circlet which somewhat resembles Lotus Flower to me.
- Dynasty Warriors 7 Costume 3 ~ Courageous Tigress
- Xiao-Lin in her Dynasty Warriors 7 Outfit. Unlike the Soulcalibur versions which have trouble coming close this is quite accurate based on what the game can do (then again the design stemmed from what I wanted her to wear in DWO).
- Dynasty Warriors 7 Costume 4 ~ Arrow Blaze
- Xiao-Lin's outfit for Dynasty Warriors Online. Xiao-Lin has always been an accomplished archer (in earlier games she would have the highest Bow Attack/Defense among female characters), but I've never had many games where I could use her without needing to be an Elf raced character due to that being the archetype for archers in MMOs. This is about as close as I can get to her outfit since the one I want to use isn't in DW7:E, hoping it comes in 8:E even if it's a DLC.
- Dynasty Warriors 7 Costume 5 ~ Crimson Tigress
- Xiao-Lin in her Dynasty Warriors 8 Outfit. While not as accurate as the Soulcalibur 5 version (which is where I made the concept) it is pretty good for what DW7:E can do.
- Dynasty Warriors 8 Costume 1 ~ Young Fang
- I would've kept her with Short Pike if it didn't have the charge gimmick, otherwise just a slight update. Different voice compared to 7:E due to it sounding not as good.
- Dynasty Warriors 8 Costume 2 ~ Iron Tigress
- A little more accurate to her look from DW6, though there should be a flowing cloth similar to what Ma Chao has. Since this was when she was more powerful in battle rather than athletic I gave her Yu Jin's Trident.
- Dynasty Warriors 8 Costume 4 ~ Arrow Blaze
- When I saw Flame Bow in 8:XL I instantly knew I wanted Xiao to use it. Sadly the set I was wanting from DWO that I didn't get to keep very long didn't make it in :<.
- Dynasty Warriors 8 Costume 6 ~ Armored Fang
- New outfit made for her as a concept for DW9.
- Samurai Warriors 4 Costume 1 ~ Arrow Blaze
- Rather nice interpretation of her DWO model, though she should have Black and Silver as her color scheme.
- Samurai Warriors 4 Costume 2 ~ Arrow Blaze (Empires only)
- A different take on her archery outfit meant for DWO. Due to this game having 2 versions of Xiao-Lin this one is named Su Xiao-Lin.
