It was always assumed Vimana and her sisters were chosen to care for and practice rituals in the Chamber of the Goddess because there birth was true, 21 sisters and no boys. But a strange young man has recently contacted Vimana claiming to be her twin brother. His name is Veda and he claims he was abandoned as a baby by their parents so they could claim their daughters as true priestesses to the Goddess. If this is true it would jeopardize their claim to the Chamber. What Veda's true intentions are is unknown.

Veda also has the third eye like most of his race, but he feels dishonored by them and so has put out his third eye. Like others of his race, it constantly regenerates, so he has to repeatedly harm himself.
