Profile

spica-andromeda.png

Spica Raghia Andromeda is the lead female character of fiction Chronicles: Requiem of the Twilight Star. She is a vate White Harlot from Gi'on, Yasaka. She started a journey to fulfill her duty as the Amatsu Otome (prophet of the Lost Illusion), as told by the Vate Goddesses. On her journey, she met an aes'sidhe named Sleipial, and a trojan named Rudolph. In battle, Spica wields a feather mantle, which boosts her buffing power. She is not proficient in fighting, however.

Her true name is Manaka Houseki (宝石 愛花 va:Vate pronunciationHouseki Manaka; yh:Yaohu pronunciationBaoshi Aihua). She has a long rubine red hair, which split in the middle-back. Her left eye is bright rubine red, while her right eye is bright sapphire. Her heavy weight (due to being a vate) and her three size (106-64-96) are often joking subjects among her friends. She is very feminine and always wears a skirt with any of her outfits. While kind, she is far from being the sharpest mind when it comes to puzzles.

Spica can make various dishes, but the best she can is vinegared rice combined with other raw ingredient, usually fish. While her party members praise the simple and fresh taste, Perseonn is always bothered to eat the raw fish. When idling in towns, she will visit the town's Vate Temple and perform her task as the Amatsu Otome to collect money for the party. She makes the most money among all party members.

Spica's journey represents herself by the choices that she makes. She is in an unresolved situation as a result of choices made in the past. She can choose either to ignore it or to change it and take full responsibility for the consequences.

Spica's name was taken from the brightest star in Virgo Constellation. Her last name is taken from my last name. Her true name is taken from a character in a certain Illusion game, while the last name is taken from a song by Marina Inoue. She is 37 years old (by vate age reckoning) during the event of Requiem of the Twilight Star, 158 cm tall and weighs 62 kg.

I tested for some combination to work with the Belle Disguise and found this one worked best. I would like her to have some translucent shawls, though. Her color scheme is #154, Orchid.
Costume 2 by Naufal Virgian Dana
This version was a bit bare for my taste and her colors are straight glowing instead of alluring. I tweaked the colors from white and red to red and black and give her a top.
Costume 3 by tanleeseng
Tan successfully capture the essence of Spica's clothing, although the hot pants are downright off. Still, I can pretend that it is a short skirt. Thanks, Tan!

Slightly revamped version of SC3 Spica. Her color scheme was borrowed from her SC4 version while her style is kept to Rapier. You will need to hack the game a bit to make her use Flambert (1P), but Schweitzer is just fine.
Costume 2
Previously used Nightmare, but I think she can also use Sword and Shield like her SC5 counterpart. The Ivan the Terrible is somewhat perfect, combining red shield and a very thin sword. This change made her closer to current Spica's concept.
Costume 3
Spica's Halloween costume that was made for SoulGateway's Halloween contest. She won 3rd place and I decided to include this in her official SC3 costume lineup.
Costume 4
Chevalier Noir which would later evolve as a concept for Vierge. She previously used Siegfried's Glam, but I switched to Cassandra's Dark Blade to match SC5 Vierge's moveset.
Costume 5
Her ideal version, based on her White Harlot concept. The tamborines, surprisingly, fit well with Xianghua's weapon demonstration.

The shots are using Pink trail instead of Cherry Blossom, since Cherry Blossom trail won't show up using hardware render.

Spica is intended to be true to her artwork, although the similarities may be minimum.

Costume 1
The most recent costume for her, dropping the white outfit (Costume 4) in lieu of classier red/black color scheme. Main reason of making this the first costume is to make her looks as classy as other Vates. The outfit is based on her appearance in 3D Shoujo Custom Evolution.
Costume 2
This is a Lustful Vate Itokenai outfit. It's a trainee outfit before they are appointed to Seijo (priestess). Spica wears this costume during the events of Memories of the Days Gone by.
Costume 3 ~ Manaka
This costume is the outfit that Spica wears while she's still young. The kimono's supposed to be shorter, tough. Her style changed to viola because she likes to play with a temari (a ball made of cloth). Her hairstyle is changed to make her similar to the urban legend Hanako-san. Her voice is also changed to Upbeat Girl.
Spica wears this costume during the events of Love Flower. Since at that time she has no debut name yet, her name should be written as Manaka.
Costume 4
This is the first attempt at making her similar to the artwork. Main problem with SC5 is the lack of decent skirt, especially long ones. Additionally, the Cloth Wrap has a drab color and not suitable for the white part of her outfit.
Costume 5
This costume is based on her early SC5 mock-up. I ended up liking this outfit more than the earlier attempt (Costume 4) since the Corset shapes her body better.
Costume 6
This costume is an alternate coloring of her second outfit. I aimed to add more jewelry and leaf green as a third color to her. This can be considered the true update of her second costume.
Costume 7
This costume is a remake of her original SC3 outfit. This outfit is already unused, but I like how it turned out on SC5.
Costume 8
This costume is an attempt to recolor her third costume, but ended up with a different look. The pants are supposed to be translucent.

This is the closest it can be to Spica's fiction Chronicles outfit.
Costume 2
Spica's outfit when she was assigned as a captain in Jarmuth. She can use her red cape to fight a la matador. This outfit is now unused due to concept change and given to Scherazard.
Costume 3
Spica's outfit for night time. Her usual red-white costume would stand out too much at night, so she has a red-black costume when she needs it.
Costume 4
Spica's formal outfit when she was assigned as a captain in Jarmuth. She can use the big ribbon on her wait as a red cape for her fighting style, El Capote Roja de Matador. This outfit is now unused due to concept change.
