Profile
Kitsunebi (狐火 Kitsunebi) is the Forsaken Inferno who governs the Fanged beings on Dream Port. She was previously known as Oshichi Yaoya (八百屋 お七 Yaoya Oshichi). She appears as a young lady in a multi-layered kimono with a long obi. She has a distinct eastern hairdo held with a flaming flower headdress. Her iris and sclera are both red. She talks in a polite manner and refers to herself in the third person.
During her human days, Oshichi's village was in a great fire. She ran to a family temple and fell in love with Ikuta Shounosuke, a temple page. Due to the difference between her and Shounosuke's status, she could not meet him again after the fire has been subdued. A year later, she burned her village hoping to meet Shounosuke. However, Shounosuke was shocked by her deed and turned her to the police. Oshichi was sentenced to be burnt at the stake, carrying a love letter to the gods.
Kitsunebi is a Japanese folklore about a sudden appearance of flame trail. Oshichi's name was taken from the story of Yaoya Oshichi, a Japanese folktale. Her facial appearance is a homage to Oshichi from Shin Megami Tensei.

Author Notes
Soulcalibur V
I've been looking for many reference on how she look like, but ultimately I have to settle for a simple patterned kimono due to lack of layering skirt.
Warriors Series
- Dynasty Warriors 7
- She uses a newer framework for Warriors series character style.
- Dynasty Warriors 8
- Not changing her moveset to flame bow after all, the boomerang fits her better.
