A nun of the Septian Church, and one of the party members in Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky (英雄伝説 空の軌跡 Eiyuu Densetsu: Sora no Kiseki). She made her first appearance in the Third Chapter.

Ries seemed to care a lot about Kevin. She used a Temple Sword which is a snake sword, much like Ivy's from Soulcalibur. She chose to use the Temple Sword because she knew that Kevin used a crossbow. Ries later lost her veil and spent the last part of the Third Chapter without it.

Ries is voiced by Houko Kuwashima, who also voiced Seong Mi-na (Soul Calibur through Soulcalibur III), Kasumi (Dead or Alive 3 and above), Viola (Eternal Sonata), and Isara Gunther (Valkyria Chronicles).

Ries is a balanced character toward arts, similar to Scherazard, but her crafts are much more aimed toward inflicting damage. Her Infinity Sparrow craft is one of the most damaging multi-hit area attack. I personally use her as the damager, as she was paired with Kevin a lot and Kevin was underpowered. Her S-Crafts are Heaven's Strike (ヘヴンストライク) and Heaven's Sphere (ヘヴンスフィア).
