Minoba was originally made so Ginchiyo had something to do besides wander around for strong opponents.
In the old timeline of Soulcalibur she was a Shrine Maiden whose husband was murder when she turned her back for a second and went to hunt down the female ninja who did it. While the target was killed not by her hands her fellow maidens shunned her and made her leave with Ginchiyo to wander the land. She eventually died of poisoned drink with Ginchiyo while ill so that they both would met in the afterlife.
In the new timeline she and Ginchiyo are partners in a Demon Exterminating group with enchanted weapons to help them defeat demons. They are at Izumi's request on the hunt for her friend who let herself get possessed in order to hopefully free her.
Soulcalibur III
- Costume 1 ~ Stripped Maiden
- Unlike later versions of her outfit this is what she had before her husband was killed after being thrown out before meeting Ginchiyo to clean up Gin's look.
- Costume 2 ~ Maid Blade
- Later versions of this outfit look less like a maid compared to this.
Soulcalibur IV
