Kristof woke up in the middle of a bloody battlefield with little memory of his past. He was captured by slavers shortly after and was sold into slavery where he was forced to fight in gladiatorial-like games. His undefeated record drew the attention of the Warrioress Zara. She told him she was a servant of Shakari, daughter of the Dark Emperor Dakkon. She also told him that he was part of a prophecy that he would become the new wielder of the Dark Essence and become the new Dark Emperor. He went with her to join the insurrection started by Shakari against her father. He later defeated Dakkon and took the throne for himself.
