Author Notes
She is a character I wanted to make that focused on hand to hand combat over using weapons like swords or spears. It is very hard to make her perfectly due to needing an unarmed fighting style to be able to use her correctly, DW8 has the right idea, but the boots are far too gigantic for feasible use.
Soulcalibur III
- Costume 1 ~ Steel Guard
- I aimed to give her a lot of armor, but at the same time enough to give her movement should she need it.
- Costume 2 ~ Renewed Light
- The only time she had the scar on her face Light Blue which she is supposed to have.
Soulcalibur IV
- Costume 1 ~ Steel Guard
- Rather tricky to rework in SC4 due to no style being weaponless so I went with the alternative of a kick heavy style which is Yun-seong's. Since the BD version had trouble with choosing upper body equipment to wear that sorta transferred to 4, though I was able to find a workaround it.
- Costume 2 ~ Renewed Light
- Altered from the BD version. While I couldn't color the jacket in BD I could here which is more color accurate to how she is.
Soulcalibur BD
- Costume 1 ~ Steel Guard
- Did what I could given BD's limits such as choosing between an armor or a shirt. She is using Dampierre's style only because it's the only style that can be considered weaponless.
- Costume 2 ~ Renewed Light
- In SC3 originally her outfit meant for a final showdown with Yoli, it was later changed to be her returning outfit though there's no scar as SC4/BD removed the option for it.
Soulcalibur V
- Costume 1 ~ Steel Guard
- Massive update to her look to be as similar to her SC3 version. The thought to add the Mohawk ornament to her boots to emulate Grieve Edge came in when I experimented near completion.
- Costume 2 ~ Renewed Light
- Meant to be similar to her SC3 version due to being much more able to replicate it.
Warriors Series
- Dynasty Warriors 7 Costume 1 ~ Steel Guard
- A pretty nice attempt at recreating her look though there should be less cloth by her legs, she mainly uses her feet in combat which will have to wait until DW8 for the Sabatons. Despite one of her lines she is meant to be a defensive character story wise (hence Spiked Shield secondary).
- Dynasty Warriors 7 Costume 2 ~ Renewed Light
- Pretty decent turn out for her later look 10 years after the prologue of the story, sadly I can't give her a scar on her right eye.
- Dynasty Warriors 8 Costume 1 ~ Steel Guard
- While I do like the Sabatons moveset I wish they were smaller like the Grieve Edge in Soul Calibur 3.
- Dynasty Warriors 8 Costume 2 ~ Renewed Light
- Mainly a moveset change from 7:E.
- Samurai Warriors 4 Steel Guard
- As with most Dark Time characters her concept is based on an alpha design before her true design (which the Soulcalibur games have come close to). I couldn't use the original DW7:E hair as it was not in this game. A pretty spot on look to what her original outfit was meant to look like at the time of SC3. While she finally has a style based on kicks I dislike the timidness of Naotora's moveset.
