Evan is the older faternal twin brother of Evany. Originally quadruplets, their two other siblings were taken away as payment for the debts of a father they never knew. To keep her only two children safe, their mother gave them up to adoption. While Evany was never adopted, Evan was adopted by a veteran war lord at the age of 3. He was raised to be a warrior, and such a life had led him to forget his old one.
