Dakkon was a powerful Emperor and wielder of the power known as the Dark Essence. He inherited the power and title of The Dark Emperor from his father, who had inherited from his father, and so forth. He took the daughter of a defeated rival king named Kaleina as his wife. She did not bear him a son, but a daughter. This brought attention to a prophecy that the old bloodline would end, and a new one would begin. This came to pass when he was defeated by Kristof.
