He was made to give Janetsa a Squire in the past, and later a Strategist and voice of reason in the present of Dark Time. His youth is meant to look quite basic while as an adult he has Silver armor and a scarf flowing. It wasn't until Soulcalibur 5 that I was able to make them just how I wanted, though the Warriors games have his correct adult hair style.

Soulcalibur III

Costume 1 ~ Cadet

The thought behind him was to make him a simple Cadet. While he has a mature looking face it's not until SC5 where he has a different face for his younger and older self.

The best version of his older self until SC5.

Soulcalibur IV

Costume 1 ~ Cadet

In SC3 he had a more mature face used for both outfits while in 4 he has his young face for his outfits. Also the pants are supposed to be White, the miscolor is my mistake that I didn't feel like fixing.

Costume 2 ~ Shinning Armor

His outfit when he is grown up, sadly the SC4/BD version looks like a Siegfried clone with little difference.

Soulcalibur BD

Costume 1 ~ Cadet

This is a recreation of what the original outfit was like in SC3.

Costume 2 ~ Shinning Armor

Recreation of his SC3 version, though his weapon is meant to be somewhat thin like the Great Swords in Final Fantasy XII, Gram is much thinner than his actual sword.

Soulcalibur V

Costume 1 ~ Cadet

An updated version of his usual plain cadet outfit. This was to give him a more definable look to his young self.

Costume 2 ~ Shinning Armor

The most unique version of his adult outfit, the only thing missing is a ponytail tied at the bottom of his head.

Warriors Series

Dynasty Warriors 7 Costume 1 ~ Cadet

His usual young look with more years taken away then normal. While he appears in the beginning of the story as a non combatant he is actually old enough to be fighting, this would be an even younger him while he is still trying to master swordplay. His pants are supposed to be White, but there's no way to change the color.

While this file is starred he has the Slowest growth rate due to finishing his run on Beginner purposely taking over 121 turns since he is supposed to be weaker due to not having a weapon at this point.

Dynasty Warriors 7 Costume 2 ~ Shinning Armor

One of few games with a massive difference between his child look and his adult look. He finally has his accurate hair style, though due to how creation works in DW7:E his armor had to be darkened due to the palette. I would've used Zhao Yun's armor, but it is not possible to give it a different color than the default which would've been nice since Clerence is supposed to have a scarf with his armor. While I like the voice I hate how often "Strategy" is said.

Dynasty Warriors 8 Costume 1 ~ Cadet

Mainly a moveset update from 7:E

Dynasty Warriors 8 Costume 2 ~ Shinning Armor

Complete makeover and the closest to his real way of fighting. Wish I could make the armor bits Silver without changing the color of the clothing.

Samurai Warriors 4 ~ Hermit

As with most Dark Time characters his concept is based on an alpha design before his true design (which the Soulcalibur games have come close to).

He and three other characters were part of an old story I was working on in my high school days in 2005 that was eventually dropped. He and Ayol were guardians of a temple who would test the heroes to see if their strength was eligible for passage. His design was a barely armored knight, back then his weapon was a Claymore that he would never unsheathe yet was able to swing it at an amazing speed.
