Tricia-chan

Tricia was first introduced the tale of souls of swords through a demo of Soulcalibur III. Originally, she was into the game simply for the character creation, so she bought the actual game for herself. However, taking in more aspects and playing the game as a whole, she soon found myself loving the story and its characters. From this point forward, Tricia's love for fighting games had grown.

Over time, she had played all of the games, excluding Soul Edge. In order from most to least, her favorite installments are Soulcalibur III, Soulcalibur V, Soulcalibur, Soulcalibur II, Soulcalibur: Broken Destiny, and Soulcalibur IV. Being the only game Tricia did not directly own, she did not fully get into the second installment. For the fourth, overall, she did not enjoy it, especially the graphics. As for Broken Destiny, she finds it a rather odd game, assuming that it's just to teach people how to play the game through comical chapters.

My first introduction to the warriors series was Dynasty Warriors 2, which was owned by my uncle or cousin. It’s a game that I fairly enjoyed, although I never got past the Yellow Turban Rebellion. (I was 8-10-ish; I wasn’t too good at games.)

2012, while searching for Dead or Alive 2: Hardcore at a local GameStop (the only reason I wanted it was that it had voice actors from Legend of Dragoon) I happened upon the second game. Feeling nostalgia kicking in - plus the fact that it was incredibly cheap - I purchased. I played it, and I enjoyed reliving the memories. Following that, I played 7: Xtreme Legends, 5: Empires, Online, 4: Empires, 7: Empires, and 8. From March to the present, I've spent most of my time roleplaying as various Dynasty Warriors characters — canon and OC — in the Tumblr community.
